Default New battery needed?

My battery keeps running flat if I don't use the car for a couple of days.
Is there something I should check before getting a new battery?
And where is the best/cheapest place to get a decent battery?
(I have a halfords discount card if that helps)

Cheers
P.s. Posting off my phone do can't search.

Honda are surprisingly reasonable for OEM batteries although I believe there are 2 suitable part numbers and depending on the dealer they may try and sell you the more expensive type.

Dont know if you have tried keeping a trickle charger on to keep the battery topped between uses, it may just need a good charge if not being used often.

+1 for the dealers on this one...a fair bit cheaper than the Hellfrauds variant

It's my daily car but if not used for 2 days won't start.
No power for a charger....trip to the dealers tomorrow I thinks.

Could be the battery if you have no idea how old it is but it might be worth checking the alternator is working properly at the same time as you don't want to kill a new battery if the alternator isnt charging it properly.

You can do a search on your phone - go to the bottom of the page and you'll see where it says "Search". alternatively, press where it says "Full Version" - this gets you to the normal page and you can search as usual.

Do you know whats causing the battery to go flat?

I had the same with mine recently so went and got a new battery and it turns out the H&P alarm was the problem.
