I had a look at a CRV & Freelander. The new CR-V looks quite nice, will be bigger and have larger engine range as still remain "in the same ballpark pricing".

Sadly it looks like the S2000 will be the car which bites the bullet for the sake of the pup

Still, booked a test drive in an S4 Avant

I can highly recommend the CRV, has all the practicality of a 4WD but drives just like a car.

When are you getting rid of it Andy?
Are you going to part exchange or sell private ?

It depends on what car we're going for. My current favoured option is to go for a 3 year old CR-V for ~10K and a Westfield for ~7K. I've been offered an old Formula Ford for 6K which has to be driven to be believed it's absolutely awesome Unfortunately it's not road legal If we go this route, I'll probably give selling private a go, but I would be concerned over allowing people test drives

Our other option is to go for an S4 Avant, which at nearly 300bhp and in Audi Silver must be the ultimate Q car You can pick these up at 20K for a low miler 3 year old.
