Default New Diff

Im having a new LSD fitted as my unloaded rears loose traction when turning from a T junction and the diff makes a noise under same conditions. Can anyone tell me if they will have to realign the rears when they change it? Ive got new settings on and love the cars handling so I want to make sure that they put it right if it needs it.

Colin, did you get your new diff and was a full re-alignement done as part of that?

I am getting a new diff, hopefully next week, and was thinking that if they have to do an alignment are they going to apply the new Honda recommended settings ('02) automatically or perhaps I can ask them to set it that way when they do it.

Also, has the new diff sorted out the loss of traction when turning out a T-junction? I also get this but had assumed it was normal!

Thanks,

- Frisky.

Frisky, I did ask whether they would have to realign and they said no, I already have the 02 alignment. The bad news is that it hasnt made a bit of difference to the traction when turning at a T junction. I wonder if anyone else has had one fitted? It has stopped the noise though.
