Leather wrapped and a mere $195 USD One of these came on my 2006. Been in my parts drawer for years as I replaced it with a larger spherical knob. Any interest?

I’m beginning to think buying a Cayman might not be such a bad idea with these crazy prices!

I have one as well and was debating between selling that off or the aluminum but it seems like the leather one is more valuable.. who woulda thunk it..

Most of us aren’t aware of prices until someone quotes them, I worked in a Kia parts deptand when doing Bodyshop quotes I was amazed at the cost of some parts, don’t think I ever quoted for gear knob though.

195 bucks is crazy, I would just buy a used one and refurb, make a little hoody for it in the winter UK lol

I have a scruffy OEM one which I have always planned to refurb, maybe a fun little project there

I replaced my old Leather style OEM knob with a GT100 knob 4 years ago. I must admit I didn't gel with the spherical aluminium style, whilst it still looks better. But there's something nice about the way the leather OEM feels, perhaps adds to that rifle bolt change...
might even get my old knob out....

classic, that’s the problem with the S, most gear changes after that aren’t going to be as good!

What a great thread this is.

I prefer the longer shaft- better moment on gear changes

Here it is, now if I can sort out this water leak I might not sell the car!
