Default New injectors or not

Hi All

After exploring Supercharging and Turbo, I have managed to secure a an unused (NEW & BOXED) Turbo conversion for my S2000. The kit has everything except injectors and intercooler. It was bought at great expense new from Evasive Motorsports in the US but the guy never fitted it and its been sitting for just under a year. I managed to secure it for a very GOOD price. Includes a cast manifold too.

I am going to be running conservative boost 7 maybe 8 psi max. I will NOT be upping that in the future as I want to continue to run modest reliable power. I will be adding an intercooler and I already have an ECU and plug-n-play harness.

Questions:
- Do I need to upgrade the injectors for this sort of boost or can the OEM handle this ? If I do need to upgrade, what to and they really must be a direct replacement for the OEM to avoid new plumbing etc.
- If new injectors, will I need a new fuel rail ? If so, what / from whom to just bolt into place of the OEM.
- Will I need an uprated fuel pump ? Again, if so, what / from whom as a direct OEM replacement without any major work needed.
- What size of intercooler would be good to go for. I am looking at putting it in the engine bag (loads of space now that the OEM air box is out) as the shorter the pipework to/from the intercooler the lower the turbo lag I read hence instead of out to the nose of the car and back, inside the engine bay.

Any assistance / info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Almost certain you will need injectors. The OEM ones max duty cycle around 300 bhp from memory.

If you get some decent 550 ones, they will fit the OEM rail. I think mine are Injector Dynamics.

I would also do the fuel pump. Walbro 255 will do.

I would get new and better injectors, but it's possible to keep the stock ones if you get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
This one is a simple bolt on the stock rail http://www.aemelectronics.com/produc...sure-regulator
I really don't think you need to replace the fuel pump.

I honestly think money would be better spent picking up an AEM rather than continuing to use your eManager piggyback system.
