mine came with the car. it's in the loft. i got it down once, when i had the recall on it, swapped it over and stuck the new one in the loft.

it takes too long to put on and fills the boot if you take it off. what's the point?

I think that the car looks more complete as a set of lines when the Tonneau is on. I always put it on.

Maybe that makes me a little more retentive but in this company that's like admitting I like a tipple during an AA meeting!

Allways put mine on, got it off to a fine art now, takes me about 3 mins to put on and about the same to take it off. IMO when its on it stops any fine particals of grit going in to the hood section and possibly on to the plastic screen, no problem if it just lays there, the problem comes when you raise the hood and the screen rubs against its self thus producing the fine scratches we all dread.

Yeah, I am a little worried about scratches on the rear window... so maybe I will try it once just to see how long it takes.

But one thing I do love about NOT using it, is that when I pull into work I can put the roof up in 5 seconds... while my work collegues with Elises have to spend 5 minutes unrolling and popping theirs back on. Needless to say I walk past them with a sly grin on my face.
