New S2000 Delivered Today - Hoorah!
Well, it's finally here and I'm well chuffed. Shame the weather is so kack, I drove home and put the car straight in the garage. The colour is Silverstone Metallic with Black interior - yummy! I don't seem able to post a picture of the car even though I have some digital pictures...anyone know how you do it?! I think I'm going to go on a long journey to get those pesky run in miles dealt with ASAP!
Cheers,
Simon.

Just enjoy the run in period, the car is great (you dont have to be be +6000 rpm to enjoy it. I have just pased 850 miles, and the first 600 gave me the chance to get used to the car and enjoy the ride!!
Mind you once you do hit the numbers, it is fantastic!!
But after the last few days watch out for standing water.
Regards
John

nice one
so what car did you come out of then? - I'd be interested in your initial impressions compared with your old car
I came from an E36 M3 Evolution and have never looked back

zero to 60,
My previous performance cars include a 1981 Triumph TR8 roadster, 2000 Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo Plus and a 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe. In comparison to those cars the S2000 is not very similar at all! The only thing I could compare from that lot is the handling of the 911 - you need to keep things very smooth in a 911 to go quickly and safely!
Cheers,
Simon.
PS. I still cannot get the Photo Album to display any means of me adding a picture - perhaps because I haven't made 25 posts?! Very weird. Oh well.

interesting you had a Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo - I had a 'comparison' with one a couple of weekends ago - he wanted to play and since the road was quiet (joining a dual carriageway off a roundabout) I thought I'd oblige - the cars were close but the S2000 did seem to have the legs on the Fiat which was surprising - do you think he let me go or is the Honda genuinely quicker?
