Default New S2000 owner

Hi, I bought my S2000 2 weeks ago as it was what i thought to be a good price. It has done 150k but is a one owner car that was well maintained (mechanically). Apart from a slight hiccup at a Honda dealer who had it in at 30k and for some work which resulted in a siezed engine. So the new engine stands at 120k but sounds sweat as a nut. In fact it's quieter than my uncles S2000.

The only thing letting it down was the bodywork which was looking a bit tired in the way of 30 parking dents, scuffed bumpers, Dirty dirty enterior and generally in need of a good clean!

This is how i picked it up:

Quick wash:

My uncle gave me another set of wheels with better tread so on they went:

Wasn't a fan of the white wheels so painted them black. The car as it stands now after a good clean, all dents removed and repainted bumpers:

Would be interesting to know what you guys think it's worth and if it was worth my while. Was just gonna sell it on but love it to much now! All comments welcome, Steve.

Just looked at the pictures on photobucket, see what you mean looks like somone had been using it for target practice! Good to see you are getting it sorted, If you got it from a dealer there will probably be very little change in it, but as you have fallen in love with it......

And welcome,

Thanks for the welcome

I bought it privately with the intension of selling on. It has come up a treat and apart from a small bit of rust on the bottom of each arch it is mint now. The thing is i do like it very much and can't bring myself to sell just yet. I should be able to sell it for what it owes me as it stands................one day.

Yeah - by then you'll be utterly hooked...

Look after it & drive carefully - at first.

I have been very conservative with it Nick. Drives like a car with half the mileage! I had a Type-R civic previous to this and never liked it one bit, this is a different species in comparison.

Got my red 'H' stickers in the post today for the wheel centres and gave her a clean up. I filled the tank up and spent the day driving it around with my son with the roof down. I love this car
