Just signed the agreement for my s2k! - what a feeling!

So before i finally get the car i thought i'd check out a few things:

Are there any leads around to link the Honda (Bose) CD changer to a new Kenwood headunit?

What size are the speaker pods in the front doors? - i've got some kenwood PS50P components (13cm). Am i gonna be able to get these (the cone AND the tweeter?) in without significant modification other than a mounter?

How much is a decent sports exhaust system (UK) and what kind of extra power am i gonna get?

Thanks for your help,

Steve

Congrats & welcome!

Check out the search facility - there's more info on this site that you can use.

Also you find some members get a little tired of regular questions.

Other than that, they're mostly friendly

Hi, thanks guys.

Before i posted i couldn't find anything concrete on the compatibility of the "Bose" cd changer - or alpine as it may be??

Or on the question of fitting COMPONENTS in the door as opposed to co-axial two ways.

(Sorry about the repetition of the questions in my original post!)

Welcome to the board

There is some variation in standard head unit fitted to the S2000 by Honda over time - but if you are buying a MY2001 car, you will almost certainly get a (very cheap and nasty) Alpine unit badged for Honda. If you want to retain the on dash audio control functionality, you will need to stick with Alpine kit (which really isn't so bad!) and purchase an interface unit to go with the head unit (costs about
