I don't live far from there, I work in Blackburn.... I did use to have an X reg but I don't think that was the reg - what's the colour? Is it private or garage?
You can check with the Honda garage in Blackburn/Clitheroe/Preston to see if it's been regularly serviced there (B'burn Honda was a Volvo/Volks garage about 3 years ago so it will have been serviced elsewhere if Honda's done it).

hi steb thanks for the reply,
i went to have a look at the car today it was at blackburn motor village. It was a cheap price and the garage seemed ok but the car had rear damage and the rear pannel by the bumper had rust which had touch up paint on top. Also the roof had tears in on both sides. So looks like i will be carrying on my search.

The car was silver had been on a private plate one of the plates was s200 ogx and came from the carisle area

Hi Mike

Only just seen this.

I live near Blackburn and my car is for sale.

Not sure if it's within your budget, but see it here -

TBH, you are better off getting the right car regardless of age. yes, the tax is a PITA, but so is a dodgy clutch, knackered bushes, ripped roof etc etc.

Over 3 years you will spend

You're absolutely miles better off buying a newer one particularly off old timer club members we're mostly fairly loony about looking after our cars right, if you had the extra dosh blurters car is the right one
