Newbie, looking for an s2k and advice!
Hi folks,
I am in the market for a new car having sold my....er...subaru yesterday!
Always liked the look of the S2k and with summer coming I think now is the time to take the plunge!
One question I have is-
I have a young son (4) who I will need to carry in the car quite often but obviously I cant with the passenger airbag, is there a method of isolating it when hes in the car?
I am back to work overseas for 2 weeks on tuesday so will be keeping an eye on the net for any s2000's that come up, I have a budget of 15k max but would prefer something around 13k, any nice examples in scotland just now?
Thanks,
Colin.

It isn't easy to disable the passenger airbag and if you find someone to do it for you it will need to be declared to your insurers
I have 2 kids and I have taken both of them in the S from around the age of 4. It is more a size thing and as soon as they were big enough to use just a booster seat I started takeng them out in it - they both love it.
There is only one engine available in the UK.

Phoenix in Stirling tend to have quite a few in and their service is superb.
Oh yeah and DO NOT TAKE DIAMONBRITE! it's a con and they wreck your car putting it on.

If you call Phoenix Stirling ask for Steven Fraser. They have several outlets and have taken over Hyndland in Glasgow too, so should have a large stock.

Not sure about CAT D repairs but give the guy a call and you could pay to have someone from Phoenix Honda look over it for you those guys see alot of S2000s
CATD S in Larbert
could also try Arnold Clark in Kirckaldy they tend to have a few occaisionally, I'll keep my eye out in Fife for you, there's a few around from time to time.

Chathams Abbeyhill only had one IIRC from a visit a few weeks ago - MCB 02 or 03 - only saw it from a distance, but could be in your price range.
