All the new people on this site is a good thing but please will you all read the FAQ and use the search function, as you are all just asking questions that have been gone over again and again.

Thats no way to greet newbies.....If they want to ask questions then let them...so what if they've been covered before...You were new once and i'm sure you asked questions that had already been answered.

Stay on here long enough and nearly every post will be a repost/repeat.
Not to mention that Search doesn't work most of the time.

It's pretty much unavoidable, Ade. Even with it sticky-ed at the top of the board, some people don't spot the FAQ.

N00b questions are just a fact of life

Thankyou Sorry but i'm getting a bit fed up of peoples "bored of reading that again threads"...if you don't want to read it again, then close the thread and ignore it.

Quite right, Jenny.

Lets try to keep this place a nice one, rather than full of grumpy old men

I agree also... most of the time you do a search you don't always find the answer you are looking for so it's easier and quicker just to create a new post for it as most of us know the answer of the top of our heads

Like Mr stanley said - lets try to keep this place a nice one

Guess this is aimed partly at me Ade...

I HAVE read the FAQ, I HAVE used the search. FAQ is helpful, search is to be frank totally pants. If I get a response from it, there are so many returns its unusable.

There are so many topics, so many posts that its very difficult (and time consuming) for a newbie to find the info we want.

So, apologies if a simple question has spoiled your day, maybe you would prefer it if us newbies left you veterans who know every topic inside out to the forum newbies to bugger off somewhere else....

or you could just ignore topics that don't interest you ?

Us newbies will ask daft questions, but we may also be able to contribute..... you never know, we may have 20 years plus of motorsport/technical/vehicle development experience....
