Newton Honda Croydon
Put my last 2xservices through this garage with pretty poor service on both counts. Has anyone else had similar experiences and can anyone recommend another Honda garage in and around the Croydon area??

I used them for my MOT, didn't risk having my service there though so went up to Chiswick.
What type of bad experience did you encounter?
Also you are not W67 are you?

Im not W67:
- First service = oil filler cap left off and 300miles later oil sprayed over engine compartment!!!!!
- Second service = failed to steam clean the mess they had made with the oil in the first service and also failed to rectify the rear bumper 'looseness' that I had specifically asked to be investigated as part of the service (just a clip or two requiring replacement)
Im generally not impressed with their apparent lack of knowledge of the S2000, the service team seem less than knowledgeable without their PC and more interested/competent about the Jazz's or Civics that cross their paths.

I wouldn't recommend Ewell Honda either, I guess they don't get many S2K's through the door to become familiar with them, it took them 2 days to fit the fixing kit for a hard top to mine earlier this week, fair dues they did a good job and they learnt the hard way when it came to the bill....

Yeah that is pretty pants service.
I certainly will not be trying them out.
I will keep an eye out for you but I'm usually chugging about in a clapped out old Golf through Croydon!

If experience of the S2000 is a factor, it may be worth asking which service agent is used by the group of owners who live in South-East London/Kent (Dutton Forshaw, Bexley?), unless that's too far.
Mind you, leaving off the oil filler cap is hardly a sign of inexperience. I'd call it incompetence...or enemy action!

It's a fair point - where is there a decent service agent for the S2K in the South East?
The only bit that's worried me since deciding on my car is the whole idea of getting it serviced by a bunch of muppets!

Chiswick Honda did my 54k and they seemed to be pretty good and the car drove like a dream afterwards. 10% discount for members
But then again thats only a service and have been crap when dealing with my mates Type R purchase and repair.

Still, it's worth knowing - thanks for the recommendation!
God knows I wouldn't put the car into Southend for toffee and I never ever see S2000's outside Grays. Just the usual endless stream of Jazz's and Civics.
