Good review of this on the TG website http://www.topgear.com/servlet/tg?DEST=/co...tNumber=02.html - personally I think it looks very nice in all those photos.

Anyone know when it will be in the UK? Definitely one I will be having a good look at.

Well I guess that looks are always a personal thing

I know that when the 350z was compared with the S2000 in Car and Driver, the S2000 came out ahead - and that was the '03 model.

If / when it comes to the Uk? IIRC it's due in late spring '04, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's delayed if the US takes a lot of them.

EDIT: Hopefully fixed link

I quite like it - it's different but I would not swap my S2000 for one. The power will be very similar - but the 350Z only returns around 19 MPG !!!!!

(much less when driven hard !)

I don't believe the 350Z does do 19mpg where does this figure come from ?

The 350Z is a good looking car in my opinion and a plus is that the roof does not require a tonneu it retracts behind a screen.

IMO Nissan make better cars and engines than Honda so I would definately contemplate buying one.

Engines and cars hey,

What's the parameters for such a bold statement? Because if its reliability I was under the impression Honda & Toyota have been top of that list since the 70's.

If its motor sport heritage etc.. I don't see Nissan in F1

if it's style there is no way on earth a skyline is better looking than a NSX or a Almera GTI nicer than a Civic Type R, Subjective i know but you'd have to be a retard to think nissan make better looking cars! No offensive intended. But they do make the micra which is truly one of the most awful cars ever built. I won't even bring up the sunny.

Still the 350Z does look nice I'll be having a look when my local showroom gets one!!!

The 350Z should not be compared with the S, its hardly a lightweight sports car, more a cruiser IMO. Doesn't it weigh about 1600kg?

19MPG might be slightly low - but I am pretty sure that the combined MPG figures are in the low twenties - so realistically if you suffer from the occassional heavy right leg syndrome like I do you would do well to see more that 20 MPG.

Isn't is something like a 3.2 litre engine ??
