March 02 car, 31.5k on the clock (15.5k since I bought the car last July), and the only problem has been a burned out immobiliser circuit which was replaced under warranty.

Have gone through two sets of rears and one set of fronts, but then that's weekly Jock Meets for you ...

Miss the torque of the Chimaera, but otherwise the S is still a great looking car that has lived up to all expectations.

There are a hell of a lot of S2000 owners out there who don't have a problem. When the few get a problem, they research it on the web and post a question here. So you are going to get an in-accurate representation on any forum with technical expertise.

I have a nearly 4 year old car, and have had no major problems. Any little niggles have been fixed for free, a la warranty.

MY02 18000 miles

In the last year (since I got her) 11500 miles, 3 airfield days, always driven the way she wants to be.

No problems.

MY01, 19.5k miles, fully (cheaply) serviced at Honda, needed her nuts torqued up (they did all sorts of sh1t before they realised it was that, or admitted they knew it was that) and the brakes stripped and lubed (due to lack of use in her formative years).. other than that flawless so far (touch wood).. all done under warranty.

the mats and wheels are sh1t but the car is fuggin fantastic..

MY03 - 40k miles company car.

Apart from regular servicing and oil top ups, no problems whatsoever.

2 trips to Le Mans, one French tour, Dozens of trackdays (shhhh!) 5 sets of rear tyres, 3 sets of fronts, 1 set of brake pads. Nothing broken, nothing fell off, nothing squeaking or rattling.

MY04 30,000 miles.
I let the battery run down once.
Other than that no problems at all.

6,500 miles just had 1st service. Fabulous car. Only slight problem is a 'stiff' gear change when cold. Dealer has said they will sort on warranty.

MY05 - only had it for 750 miles - no problems so far, but I'll be surprised if something doesn't go wrong within the the next few months.
