Default NSX type-R sighting in Hemel

...was washing my car at the Shell garage in Apsley and saw a red NSX with a Type R badge.

I went over and complemented him on the car. It was a genuine LHD NSX Type-R [and is for sale].

One of the car mags (cant remember which) did a road test one one of these recently against a Zonda. On 'real' roads they rated the NSX over the Pagani! [and at a fraction of the cost]

still - will be way out of my price bracket - and I couldn't do without a stereo.

[besides I love my S2K too much]

Was this the new version NSX?

I thought that the latest model type-r only came in white. Either would be good fun of course.

I should read these things properly shouldn't I. Didn't see the LHD bit.

That means it not a new version but could be the original type-r

They made a 3.0 litre Type-R, but I'm not sure that it was made after they upped the engine size to 3.2 litres until the 'new' 2002 shape Type-R came out.

Someone posted a website a while ago with loads of videos on it - that included loads of Type-R old and new shape stuff.
