I do know the roads around Grenoble....let's say i for one would have been more careful

I've just posted on S2000.fr to see if that car is known over there.

 

Point me to a video of said critics and you might have a point. Otherwise their (and my) points are valid because you wouldn't catch me 1) being an idiot like that and 2) videoing it.

Sure, I'm not perfect. But I'm certainly not going to sit 3 feet off another car's arse straddling the line when I can't see what's coming. Or use the full width of the road on a blind bend or crest.

(Time for my generalisation now) I think most of this board wouldn't either.

That might, just might, be because erm...it's true? Videoing one's own "performance" illustrates a certain mindset in its own right (and I'm not talking about scenery, memento etc type videoing, that clip was evidently taped because he thought he was a dab hand at driving) - the ending would suggest it was actually a time trial against the Scooby. The type of mindset that thinks it's "cool" or "hard" to drive fast.

And that kind of mindset, in my humble opinion, is the mindset of an idiot.

 

The guy driving is French and goes by the name of 'CiviqueRouge' over on the French S2000 site for any fanboys who want to PM him.

 

Okay so the guy in the video was having a laugh but Saxo boy does have a point in his second to last post.

And just to say you that I agree that it was quite risky at some moments,
