For the 987? Do you need a leather console cover?

There are many experts on here but here is a quick rundown of how to prep the car.

1) Wash usig a good quality shampoo (Meg's or Autoglym with Halfords wash mit)

2) Clay the car (megs Quick Clay kit is good)

3) polish the car or combine with step 4 and polish and seal all in one go.
(The new autoglym polish / seal sounds like a good bet. Halfords white cloths and stockinette are OK - turn frequently)

4) Seal the paintwork

5) Wax the car (Megs Gold Class is good) Repeat wax every month

I've based the above on the fact you are shopping in Halfords before I get flamed by all you other experts. We all know you are better off shopping on line for more specialised products.

Most important hose as much crap off the car as you can before washing and use lots of water and keep the wash mit or cloth or sponge clean. Don't re-use old or dirty polishing cloths

I am ashamed! All I do is use Wash and Wax Shampoo on mine and it don't look too bad!
