what is clay the car?
Go down your local quarry and get a bucket load of earthy red clay. Cake the car in it and leave for 45 mins before washing off with water.

Works much in the same way as a seaweed/mud wrap at a beauty salon, removes all the grime and oxidants.

You guys are too kind.

Only one thing I would like to say is do NOT use Halfords white cloths and stockinette. They both create a lot of swirls, ok if you don't mind this but I wouldn't use them in a million years.

Just got round to looking at Rahul's website.

Going for a lie down now!

Mind-blowing, but very useful. That NFR looks like IOP!

Think mine is so old it's gonna need a mop this year and an angle grinder's the way to go. It's amazing how much berlina black shows the swirls & scratches, despite thick wax. Supersonic/Supermarine blue pearls come up a treat with Meg's polish.

The other Berlina problem is stone chips, which really show up after polishing. Is yours ready for a bonnet/bumper respray yet Nick? Mine is

The LHS of the front bumper has got the pox, the RHS isn't so bad. Answers on a postcard, please.

There's a bit of traffic cone damage on the nose cone, too. (I ended up dribbling one on a track day).
