Default Oh the cheek of it!

If some of you keep an eye on the meets forum you will know that a group of us are off on a Euro tour in a couple of weeks. We are travelling to France, into Switzerland, Italy & then returning via southern France & the Route Napoleon.

Thread link

The last time we did something similar in May some kind soul designed a sticker for the cars so i am going to be cheeky & see if anyone wants to do the same this time? No preference for design style other than it needs to be big enough to read but small enough for a windscreen (say 10-15cm long by 8-12cm high but whatever someone feels is good). A common file format too please. Jpg etc is easiest for me.

I will print them onto adhesive film & cut them to suit with a guillotine.

There is no 'purpose' to this run other than the enjoyment, seeing something of 3 nations, its part of my birthday bash & the scenery (we'll see lots & lots of mountains).

If anyone does fancy a stab then thanks in advance. Much appreciated.

Ed

Here's my first attempt. It still needs some more polish, so to speak, but you get the idea.

Open to comments/suggestions/ideas.

Wow! I like it mate. Thanks.

Can the tour & date font be changed to something more 'traditional'?

As requested I've changed the fonts. I also made the map a touch bigger, and made the s2ki logo slighty transparent.

Another idea I had was to introduce another colour. In this case I used it as another outline for the map.

I tried putting a route on the map, with red dots to denote stops, but that only made the image more cluttered.

I'm still not overly happy with the dates, so I need to rethink that. If I have anymore ideas I'll post them up.

Like the top one.

Date font slightly smaller & all on same line?

Got it! I've reduced the size of the date font, and changed it's layout. The only thing is that the "stroke" colour around the "1st Sept" blends in with the map too much. Slight colour adjustment may be required.

I think we're almost there.

Oh bummer, I had this great design I had been working on all week now gone to waste.

Looks good what you have been given though.
