Basically 90% of Rota Wheels are copies of more expensive wheels.

Prime example being rota gtr drifts, cheap Rays TE37s

In essence they are moaning about having their designs ripped when they ripped the designed first.

Pretty sure that rota aren't moaning about people copying the design of the wheel, it's about wheels claiming to be made by rota when they actually havnt been. Rota don't copy a design from stupidly expensive wheels and then put the original designs badges on them, they put their own name to making the wheel.

I think rota are good, there's pics of Rotas broken and being slated but iv also seen pics of expensive wheels that are broken and buckled.

Better to be ironic than dumb....

Rotas are manufactured to a standard and have quality control. They are good wheels at a good price.

What you don't want is a wheel that claims it's a quality controlled Rota, when it hasn't been cast correctly and not quality controlled.

Then your wheel breaks and you get people slating Rotas when it isn't even a Rota wheel.

And then internet morons jump on it because they are like sheep and can't think for themselves.

I've never had a bad experience with any Rota wheel

for most of us normal drivers Rotas are great. I like the weight saving and cool designs (reps of racing wheels).

but they have bad press from guys who push them hard

each to their own..

Problem with some of the Rotas is that they copy the design of forged wheels .... but they cast them and are therefore not going to be as strong.
