Oh no another geometry question...
Theoretically, is it possible to get the car within spec if a wishbone was (slightly) bent? Or would just the smallest amount of damage cause a headache?

How bent? Front or rear?
Should just get the bent arm change, even if the Geo is right I still won't feel 100% comfortable to drive a sports car with bent arms....:?

Rear...
The reason i ask is as you may well know I had a parking bump happen just recently, nothing at all serious but she did kiss my rear wheel and the geo went out of spec slightly but is now all returned to correct settings.
There is no damage to the wheel and visually the arms look fine. The arch got a small bump which has been pulled out (all done through her insurance) and is as good as new.
Just paranoid about how fragile the suspension arms are. Is it possible to knock the geo out of adjustment like this?

If it was all done with her insurance, then why would they not have repaired / replaced teh arm?!

Do a fleabay for honda s2000 wishbone. there are some on there at the moment if you don't feel 100% about it. I think I would be paranoid myself as they are cast. I don't think you would want to make a second claim as she was so good about the accident, and have you sent the flowers yet?

The arms are malleable iron, unlike many Germans that sometimes use alloys.
I got whacked in the rear qtr so hard my toe arm mount bent - the iron part of the hub carrier.
The arms were fine though, they are extremely tough so highly unlikely you have bent anything.
I got hit twice the same way, hard enough to need a qtr panel.
only the hub bought it the second time.

Honda use alloy arms on some of thier cars as well (e.g. CL7/9, DC5).

Chris.
The arms are very strong.
