I'm thinking not rebranded but cheap copy. I wouldn't be inclined to take ANY chances with anything to do with oil on the S2000.

Do plenty of research before you install an oil relocation kit or oil cooler.

The more tubes the cooler has the lower the pressure drop as the oil has more routes to pass through and isn't so restricted. I ended up using a mocal sandwich plate and drilled a 9mm hole through the plate which effectively acts as a bypass. At low speed the oil goes through this hole rather than the oil cooler and at high speed the oil cooler and this hole combined allow enough oil to pass through that i get no pressure drop. At 6000rpm you are trying to force 60 litres per minute of oil through the cooler and a 13 row cooler just isn't going to be able to do that without causing a massive restriction. Plus you really dont need that 60 litres to go through the cooler to provide good enough cooling. If the cooler had a flow rate of 5 litres a minute you would still get more than enough cooling effect

I cant see the point of losing 15psi of oil pressure during vtec in an attempt to get rid of some heat out of the oil.

I use mocal steel bsp push fit hoses and ive not had any issues. Infact i found that the fittings leak alot less than the AN fittings i have used before.

I already have a cooler fitted with a sandwich plate, it has a built in stat too, i left the heat exchanger in place.
With the charger i have zero room to swap out filter without taking the chargers back piping off. Is it not recommended to relocate then? I havent had any oil pressure issues with the 13 row cooler at the moment?

John did you see what i done with the smaller oil filter? I posted it on the HKS thread. I have had no issues with the smaller filter so far. I brought a oil filter stopper just incase but its stayed leak free for a good few months now.

How do you measure your oil pressure? You will find that as vtec engages the pressure will drop quite abit to around 75-80 psi but should rise up. When i had a 13 row cooler i was lucky if i saw 65 psi during vtec. That was enough to convince me that i wanted to try another solution. Alot of it is down to cooler design and hose sizes but even with the mocal i experience pressure drop.
