It's all in the technical FAQs, pinned at the start of the forum.

The diff takes 1L of 75w90 GL5 rated hypoid diff oil. Can't remember how much the box holds although I have 3x 1L bottles so it's 2 or just over. That's 75w80 but make sure it's Honda MTF or something decent like redline MTF.

Has anyone ever tried over filing the gearbox to try and avoid the wear problems on the output shaft bearings?

Basically you can't. When the oil reaches the max gearbox capacity oil it starts dripping from the oil filling hole so i cannot see how you can do that

I did mine a few days ago. Sure it was 1.6L for the gearbox and 0.8L for the diff.

Its all in your owners manual anyway near the back aound the specs. I always overfill mine a bit. Just jack the car up on the left for the gearbox so you can pump 0.1L or so extra into it. Doesnt seem to make it any less noisy thouogh.
Jacking the car up from any of the back points will let you get a few more pumps into the diff too but remember it is only ment to take less than 1L so dont go OTT.

I change all my fuids every 3k like this and no problems so far. All I will say is if you're going to over fill never skimp on the price of of new crush washers.

Pretty much as Richard said, it's also on page 283 of the owners manual

Gearbox 1.5L change, 1.6L total.
Diff 0.7L change, 0.8 total.

Did my gearbox at the weekend, used 2 1L bottles and had a little left over.
