Default Omg!!!!

Well....spent the day clocking up the extra 140 needed to complete the break in period. By 5 o'clock I had just about tipped the tripometer over the 600 mark and it was time for tea. But first gotta see what this VTEC stuff is all about!

I've driven fast cars before so I am pretty confident that I won't be overly shocked with what I'm about to witness. Wrong! Very very wrong!!

Floored the throttle in 2nd, then third..........OMG!!!!!!! Back off the throttle.

It's not so much the speed....sure it fast...extremely fast.....but it's the nature in which it is delivered (Scared the f*cking life out of me). Needless to say my eyes welled up followed by the biggest stupidest grin .

I can honestly say that this car is unique. I will take some time to get used to the way it is delivered but confidence will come with time. I haven't yet floored the car on anything less than straight roads but am looking forward to getting to grips with the new driving style.

Congratulations guys, we're all so very very lucky.......now I'm off to change the pants .

It's only now you realize that this car is illegal in second gear

How many cars can you say that about

Mines only 100 miles left before being completely run in and I caught myself cruising in 6th @ 4000 at 100 mph. I can see how you could quite easily lose your license if not careful

You definitely made the right choice of car

Just make sure you check you oil frequently! because it tends to suck it down along with the gas.

Also check your tyre pressures regulary. When i picked the car up they were set at 38 alround and not 32psi

Shame that they could not read the sticker on the inside of the drivers door, where is clearly shows 32psi all round

Just checking guys... But I only get to 60mph in second and it's just about at 9000rpm. Is mine too slow?

Don't think so - manual says max speed in 2nd is 65mph, so 9500rpm at limiter would be 65 to 70 mph I guess ( I am either bricking it or having too much fun at this point to check the speedo so cannot be sure )

Cheers.
When I tried the 0-60 test I was slaming into third just after the clock was stopped. So 65-ish is probably about right.
5.9 Secs by the way (but I know I can do better)
