one for the electrical gurus
am using a dta s60 pro ecu and a race technology dash2 display with an ecu interface.in my track car
so, whats the easiest way to get the digital coolant temp, oil temp and oil pressure working on the dash?
the ecu monitors these at all times and the interface can pass info between the 2 (using can) but is there an oil temp and pressure sensor somewhere to wire to? or will the ecu monitor temps/pressure and pass the info to the dash display? wiring the car is proving difficult

TBH I'm a bit confused by what you are asking?
Is it not an 'Xdash'? i know with previous experience on DTA's they are called xdash's.
If not then you must look at data streams both rs232 and canbus provide you oil pressure (kpa) and oil temperature (c).
Or are you saying you want to wire these in to the ECU harness from stock components on the engine?, if so i dont think there is an oil pressure and oil temp sensor (stock wise) on the f20c. So you would have to fit an oil temp and pressure sensor (sandwich) and wire to the harness, IIRC greddy etc make one for the s2000.
I have a DTA manual in my draw and small cdrom, but maybe you already have these?. Unfortunatley I'm on holiday tomorrow so can't help you soon.

its a stand alone dash from race technology and it has analog inputs to displat coolant temp, oil temp, oil pressure etc but i was told that the dta s60 can monitor this data and send it out via can to the display? is this correct? i was basically wondering how the ecu knows the oil temps and pressures when there is no guage for these on the standard car?
