Default Ordering 04 tweeter surrounds

I got a set of door cards off an 04 car from a scrappie, great condition apart from the tweeter surrounds which are quite shoddy

Anyway, seeing as my reason for getting the cards in the first place is having a better place for my tweeters, I went to my local stealer to order some replacement tweeter covers, but he said he cant order them for me unless I provide an 04 chassis number

Anywhere else I can get any? Could anyone be kind enough to PM me their chassis number so I could order the parts, I understand if not but I need somewhere that I can source those covers from all the same?

Thanks

If it were me I would get a set of windscreen side panels and mount them there the sound quailty is far a better with the tweeters on the A pillar.
I had them on my 00 car and wish I'd not used the 04 location on my current car

If you are adamant you want the 04 ones PM me and I'll see what I can do!

rob, thanks aswell mate, very kind of you

The parts manager and I had a lookie on an unregistered S2k on the forecoart when I went to order, I wasnt aware they they've changed the tweeter mount AGAIN, its now a subtle angular shape the same colour as the trim, I never knew they had changed them again!

Yep 04 tweeter grill is different to 02/03.
Same tweeter though!

For me I would get a spare set of A pillar trims and mount them flush at the bottom pointing at the windscreen.

The mounts I used on my 00 were the ones that came with Boston Acoustic.

Better get pics of that BYS lip when it's on!

TBH mike im not an audio buff at all and i think ill stick with the door locations just because its easier

Im a tad confused now... I never knew the interior was rehauled until 04? Im after the tweeter surrounds in the piccie below (pie I hope you dont mind me using a shot of your door)

So did they begin putting these in cars from 02? I need the chassis number of a car which came with these then

Will most definitely get some pics of the BYS on the Berlina when its all sorted, it should look awesome with my upcoming permagard treatment aswell Thanks again for your help mate!

Thats an 02 surround - the 04 ones are not round.

My 03 has the same round ones.

I'm intrigued by the A-pillar suggestion though - presumably details in the Electronic forum?
