Oxygen sensor
Im looking to change my o2 sensor and rang the motor factor to see if they had one in stock. They asked me if there is 2,3 or 4 wires coming out of it??
Could anybody tell me??
Im supposed to be working so havnt really time to be looking under my car or go browsing through the search option. So if anyone can tell me off the top of there head it would be brilliant
Thanks in advance

It's a 4 wire Zirconia.
Cats Direct are your best bet.
You will need to chop the connector plug from your old lambda and connect to your new one, if you are going for a non OEM sensor.
The wires don't solder either so be careful how you connect them (insulation etc)

Hi Si - it's not a rule as such, it's just the wires physically won't allow solder to stick to them.
Al, heater wires are white.

I replaced mine with Toyota one I had lying around (used to work for the supplier of all wiring to Toyota UK) and resoldered the connections
Not a myth in my case
i've changed 2 on the S (to fit a wideband) and also 2 on Impreza's and none would solder. Odd.
Not sure what material they were. Maybe some differ.
ECU does take the raw voltage AFAIK, and looks at it all the time in a constant feedback loop, even on VTEC (althoug it becomes passive). It references against the ground signal.
Way OT now though
