Default Paint for cylinder head cover

Do youoguys know which paint is used or is a close match for crackle red paint for the cylinder head cover?

No need for primer with the VHT red, paint straight onto bare metal.

Just don't get normal car body paint, it won't peel off but the oil will stain it and you won't be able to wipe it clean!

Really ? mine still looks fine a year down the line with normal car paint.

I got the spray stripper from US Auto too - everything came off a treat with that

Anyone ever polished up their cam covers to a mirror finish, instead of painting?

I did it when rebuilding the CA18 in my 200SX and it looked great!
