There are cheap harnesses and very expensive harnesses. If the cheap ones split as you launched through the windscreen I doubt you'd be thinking at least you'd saved a few quid...

An extreme example but if you agree on a price for work then it should be an acceptable quality. If the paint shop had said that for

Pretty common Neil unless they have a good booth, you sometimes get paint splatter too. Mopping is unlikely to sort it out but have an chat with him anyway.

As stated above, I've had stuff done before by the same guy/place, including a wing on the S and it was close to perfect.

Well you've got first hand experience of their work before, so if you politely say that the first bit of work on the wing was of a higher standard (and that you want to keep using them in the future/recommend them to others), then hopefully they will be accommodating...

it won't mop out if the imperfections are in the base coat

in which case will you want all four wings repainted?

this guy must work on some margin
