You probably knew this already, but I didn't.

They have a selection of plates such as S20 00A, S20 00B etc. The plates I have seen usually have 2 letters (S200 0MJ). I am debating whether to go for one or not when the car comes in.

I looked at the "classic" DVLA prices as I fancied M4 RCS (my name is Marc!) on reserve at

A little snippet of info. from someone who fell in the trap. My V-reg bacame S2000 PD, however what the DVLC didn't tell me that the V-reg that I PAID FOR when I bought the S2000 new (included in on-the-road price), no longer became mine when I put the S2000 plate on, I should have told them at the point of exchange that I wanted to keep the V-reg as well (on a reatiner). Bastards!!!! They should have told me that I thought, but I got no joy complaining to the complaint line. If I wanted V389 GCU back, that will be
