Default Polish?

I AM CONFUSED.......
I have had two brilliant weeks running in the s and I thought it was time to ask this question.
I have read several threads on different polish which ones and types. I am no newbie to cleaning cars as I have competed in a number of concorse events as part of a vauxhall club (won a few times too). I used various polishes eg autogym, mequires and 3m hand glaise(very good but hard work).
I would like to use some of these products that have been mentioned but which ones and what they are used for I dont know. Also I have a golf which has loads of swirl marks which I would like to get out. Any ideas. Also these pakshak rags. Are they any good.

For concorse events you'll be wanting Zymol.

My learned friend above is slightly mistaken - I used to use AG products all the time but Zaino is the way forward.

Paging AB - we need pics of your car to show what a concourse finish is like.

Oh and Rob, get some P21S - the stuff is a legend

Its all down to personal preference and trial and error.

Never tried Zaino, but its pushed so hard on this site you would swear that half the members were shareholders

Zymol is very expensive but produces good long last results.

Autoglym does a very good job but can be harder to apply and remove than other products.

Meguiars (I think) is a little better than AutoGlym.

P21S is a great carnuba wax that is easy to apply, remove and the shine is amazing. It also enhances black rubber instead of leaving marks on it. I can polish my car in <20 mins with P21S.

There are 100's of other products, and with the help of Rahula I have found a great combination of products with P21S being the key product.
