Polisher/buffer any recommendations
Want to invest in a buffer/polisher for a finish worthy of the pics shown in this forum
Been looking on line and can only find a very limited range with a wide price diff.
Has anyone experience of Halfords own or either of the ones Argos do. Any reco's would be appr'd.

yep, the only way is hard work and a good MF Towel. Get some good 100% cotton terry towels as well. I use the terry towel for th initial removal of the pain cleaners / wax / polish and then buff with the MF towel.
Choice of wax / polish helps, the cheaper ones tend to be harder to remove. Try and wax / polish on a cool cloudy day as well, and never in hot direct sunlight. Also do one panel at a time and not the whole car.

Have no problem with elbow grease and find weekly ritual theraputic.
Interested to see if anyone has/does use buffers/polishers as the friends from over the pond seem to like them, and if so is the result the same or better?
If the same or better then can anyone reco a make! Dont want to get into best product thread as plenty already on other threads. And got me gear already.
