Hi there,

I guess it's a pretty loose definition of "immaculate" then! How about either of these?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/101689.htm

Sorry if i'm taking the piss by getting you to review all these, but i wanna get it right and any opinions are very welcome...

Cheers, Matt

Both seem reasonable, nothing stands out from the details published. Go have a drive and poke around

Regarding ebay cars. Ebay have told me their a venue for buying and selling (like the loot). Ebay is not a real auction therefore there are no legal implications with failing to buy something you have won on ebay. So the best course of action with ebay cars is to win the car first then view it and get money off for things the seller has not disclosed or misrepresented.

I'm intrigued to know what you think ebay can do about someone expressing a view on an auction to those people bidding on it

Anyway, I wouldn't take it personally. Rightly or wrongly, the standard response from people on here whenever Cat D cars are mentioned is a sucking of the teeth and a collective "ooooh, you don't want to do that".

I suspect many of those people have no experience of repairing Cat D cars or buying them - but it DOES represent the majority view that there are just too many unknowns to make a Cat D a good bet. I'm not saying I agree with that, but I do understand the view.

I'm sure you were aware of this preconception when you bought it with the intention of selling it on. Just par for the course really

Anyway, welcome. Anyone who drives a 355 can't be ALL bad
