Default possible power steering issues

Hi all,
so, left the car with an air con specialist while away on holiday. Picked it up a few days ago, now have nice frosty air when needed, which is great, but the steering felt pretty heavy on the way home. I put this down to just adjusting to the car again after the lighter than light power steering on the rather ridiculous Fiat 500L I was driving on hols.
However, having driven it a bit more, I'm pretty convinced that I'm not getting much, if any, power steering. It's totally drivable, just notice the weight at low speeds (as you'd expect).
The EPS light isn't on, so I'm still a little unsure. Is there a situation where the power steering could be not working, but the light wouldn't come on? I'm guessing they had to disconnect the battery and things to fix the air conditioning, as both the compressor and condenser had to be replaced. Could that cause it to go on the blink?
I'm going to attempt to do a reset, but I thought I'd check here as well, see if anyone had any ideas what it might be. Also, can anyone recommend a Honda specialist, or just good garage in West London? Out in Ealing, was going to take it to Honda Chiswick, if the reset doesn't work.
Thanks in advance.

Start simple

Have you checked the fluid?

Any other owners near you, if so have one drive the car to see if there is an issue.

How much for aircon recharge?

Try the proper reset (I don't mean disconnecting the battery).

I understood the S to have EPS (electric power steering) so fuse check in the first instance? Others more experienced than I will have suggestions.

Fluid? Fluid for what? It's an electric system is it not?
I'm not sure how much it worked out for for the air con recharge I'm afraid, had to have most of the parts replaced in the end, parts, labor and recharge cost the best part of £600.....what a boring way to spend that amount of money on the car

sorry, there was a sudden moment of confusion at first, if that makes you feel any better
Well, paperclip went in, and what ever I've done seems to have worked, definitely lighter than before.
Plus, while I was down there, I finally got round to doing the roof mod as well!
Still, there was no light on before, and I'm sure the EPS wasn't working....guess it'll remain a mystery
