Potential issues & Warranties
In anticipation of impending S2k purchase (westie and audi now on market, gotta sell them first), I'm preparing my research into a used S2k.
Now, I had a MY00 a few years back but things have changed since then no doubt, more owners experiences etc. to aid my research.
This time, I'm looking at 2002+ models with up to 50k miles on the clock and want to find out the common things to look out for. I'm happy checking all the standard type things but after specific stuff that may be beyond what I'd look for normally.
If current cars go for good money, I may even make it into a 2004 model so any issues with them would be handy.
Warranties - I've seen a couple of online ones offering something like

Hi Dracaro, can tell you about the warranties - there are many independent companies who offer cover on a "if it's listed we will cover it" basis and HERE is a link to many of the main playres with their contact details.
Note that many will not provide cover on an S2000. Note also that they are also known by many on here as "Houdini" warranties as they try to get out of paying. (I have also had that experience with some I have had to deal with.
As regards the car itself, you could do no better than to look at the for sale thread on this forum and then the dealers.
EDIT, sorry I forgot to say if you want to find out about the Honda warranty then give me a shout.
