Default Prefer your top hard?

Finally took the hard top off this weekend after a long winter.

The car felt horrible - floppier than 4 day old lettuce with no Viagra. Ride felt worse, the handling less predictable, and even though it didn't creak as much I kept thinking the window was open.

Got it sorted this morning though

... How?

... the sun was shining, the roof was down, road traffic reduced (thank you school hols!) and I just didn't care

'Course it's snowing now

Don't say that! Mine will be coming out of winter hibernation this weekend, and I can't wait to get the hard top off and that roof down!!

The car is rubbish with the convertible roof up. It's so dark and depressing, not to mention noisy and leaky.

Top down it's like a different car. Feels so much better built than when it's down cos of all the rattles you get with the roof up.

I've cleared a space for my hard top....not going to take it off just yet though. I agree about it being nicer than with the soft top up. I also like the way you can see the roll hoops through the back window from behind the car

I drove through showers all weekend top down. A couple of drops of rain came over the side of the windows but nothing more than that. 350 miles of A road / Motorway without the hard top and I'm still grinning.

I do like my hard top though. It's nice for a change.

If you going over 50mph there isn't a problem regarding weather.
