Preparing the hood for winter under the hardtop
Any suggestions for what exactly to do in order to keep prepare the hood for winter under the hard top?
Currently I'm thinking:
- Clear the window. Plexus, probably.
- Autoglym bumber care on the roof material.
- Grease the seals.
- Sort out what's wrong with the oversize Muz roof well mat, and what the deal is with the roof tube.
Anything else?
I'm thinking that for things like the bumper car it's probably better to treat the hood and give it some time in the air, before folding it for the winter. Hence the query now. Might only get one dry weekedn to do it
Also does anyone actually have the grease mentioned in the owners manual? I've so far drawn a blank on it.
-Brian.

After applying the bumper care, give it a few days for the smell to vent off, it could get a bit whiffy. I put the car in the garage immediately after applying it, the smell was very strong.
Damn good stuff though.........don't forget, small sponge

Don't put the hard top on. Save yourself a lot of grief. and continue using the top mechanism at every opportunity... saves it seizing up. Sigh............. I tell you what .......I'll look after the hard top for you over the winter!

When I return the Micra I shall tell the guys that Brian loves purple and expressed an interest in having the purple Micra as he would like to buy one for his wife.
