Anyone? Please?

I stopped earlier to drop mum back home and on starting it again the idle was really rough, the car wouldn't move without kangaroing all over the place. Ended up having to turn it off and start it up again.

Have you tried my suggestions? No point spending money before trying the free options.

Also, care with odb readings, the O2 sensor may be registering a fault that may be caused by something else (e.g. over fuelling etc.)

Yes, I only got the code reader today so pulled the code and had to use the car, I'm at the girlfriends for the weekend now so I can't do anything more with it.

As for the different lambda sensors, aren't the more expensive (wideband) ones only used on DBW cars?

36531PCX014 is the part number for a 2006 non DBW car

http://lambdapower.co.uk/partsearch/...Dlist=LC-10064

searching for that part number came up with that link above listed as direct fit.

I've read that the Bosch lambda sensors fail after a few months. Something to do with the voltage they run at.

Well you can either buy that one, or buy a denso one from Rockauto and have it shipped over. The other option is to bend over and accept the OEM price.
