Still the same after some cleaning, cleared CEL and it came back after a couple of minutes.

New lambda it is...

CEL has returned, this time with P0135 which is to do with the heater circuit.

Any ideas anyone?

That sounds more like a duff wire / bad earth in the circuit if you've already changed the sensor.

Any way to verify my heater driver is good?

It's also cutting out at idle, I wouldn't have thought it would do that though as the lambda voltage is still going from lean to rich.

Well .... it's a new part! Did you crimp the wires or use the existing plug?

It already had the plug on it, it was a direct fit replacement.

I would be tracing the wire back to see if you have a break in it - also check the condition of the wires in the car part of the plug - check that the connections are nice and clean.

I will pull it apart tonight and give the contacts a good clean. Hopefully that resolves it.
