I am sure these questions have been asked before, but due to lack of interest at the time (i.e car no where near arrival) I didnt make a note.

However, now its different. With imminent arrival of my baby I would like a few questions answered if possible

1) Interior Mods.

I plan on getting the superior quality Muz mats. Do I require the Anchor Post Eyelet ? What is it exactly ? Do the "heel mats" option offer any benefit to comfort ?

2) Speed detection.

I plan on purchasing a gatso detector.
How effective are they ?
Are these completely legal ?
What is the best one to buy and is it easy to install ?

What is a laser diffuser ? Is it legal, and is it easy to install ?


I am sure i will have questions regarding ICE when the car arrives, but for now I will leave these questions until later.

It doesn't matter that you didn't make a note; all the data is still there.

To find it, click the "adv" part of the "Search" button (top right of the page)

Then enter your search criteria (e.g. 'laser diffusers' or 'Snooper SLD-920')

then select 'UK S2000 Owners' from the forums

then go for it!

As Pete (PWE 896) said, there are a couple of very recent threads about the Snooper SLD-920 and the problems experienced by many of us. You may want to wait a bit on that purchase until the problems are resolved.

 

Oh, and for the GATSO dtectors, search for "Road Angel" and "Radar Detectors" - again in the UK S2000 Owners Forum
