I might even cancel my Easter trip (had been considering this anyway) and go a different weekend. I probably won't though. Probably just make another trip.

If you go for the evening sessions it's empty

As has been said in the past, it might be worth considering the Easter trip as more of a social meet, with a bit of track time and hopefully the GP circuit, too.

Whereas a later trip in May or June would be a proper ring trip with (hopefully) plenty of laptime.

If you read all the way to the bottom of that article they are also thinking of setting up bus lanes and contra-flows on it, maybe even speed cameras.

Or they could just ban bikes. That would make me happy. Or let me put bull bars on and run em off the road.

And I've yet to witness my first bus on the ring, although apparently they do go around. And the outside of Karussell is considered the bus lane. The thought of a bus doing the karussell properly boggles the mind.

I've only met coaches twice and got a little scared both times.

First one was when I had my Saxo and I was doing a fast video lap. Coming into Steilstrecke (corner before Karussel) at high speed to see a coach on the apex doing 50mph or so. Yikes! Managed to squeeze past him and still get onto the brakes for the right hander.

Second one was more scary as I was in the Honda and barrelling along at 100mph +, when I blasted out of a pretty blind corner (can't remember know which one it was) to find TWO coaches in front of me, one overtaking the other therefore blocking the track completely. AAARGH!

Hoofed on the anchors and managed to avoid sticking my car into the luggage rack of the outer coach.

nice
