ok guys got my car up in the air as we speak, and just undone the rad fan switch and fluid came out. i know this might sound daft but its best to check right! is the fluid that came out coolant? as when i undone the radiator drain plug it was a different shade totaly like a pink colour and the colour that came out off the fan switch was like a rusty colour??/

having trouble fitting my new mugen fan switch! it doesnt fit?? its to small thread wise theres no grip on the threads at all and compared to the old 1 its not as thick either sure this can not be right? its the wrong switch aint it?

 

 

Sounds like it's wrong, if you put the two switches together back to back the threads should be the same. The coolant at the switch may just have had a build up of sludge which would discolour the coolant.

 

 

 

Sorry but they look different threads sizes to me, sometimes given away by the hex also being different. If you really cant tell a trip to a local spanner monkey should confirm.
