Default Quick Question

I have just finished installing one, took me just over an hour.

But its a bit confusing regarding the vacuums lines, I have a feeling i may have got them the wrong way round ie top-bottom.

Does anyone have a picture or can point out exactly where they go to?

There are 2 IIRC, air control solenoid etc

Should be simple enough if you can follow the original connections just done without the hardlines. Mines very different to yours but here's a couple of pics.

Let us know how it sounds. Are you driving yet or still just fitting bits and polishing it.

Don't forget to reset the ECU after the install!

No idea. The guy who helped me fit it said to do it. Probably bollocks but sounded feasible when he explained.

Thats because it forces the ECU to learn its new parameters ie. more air coming in.

IMHO it will just learn over time anyways, but doing this resets it then it learns.

I always do an ECU reset when installing mods anyways

Thanks Ninebolts I installed if right first time been out since 2ish. Sorry I forgot your name sorry i know you told me once, i think everyone on here is called Steve or Steven?

Yep sounds better and better throttle response, i also blocked off any gaps in the airbox, coated the intake pipe and box in heat reflectant tape.

K&N did a good job but slightly flawed IMO.
