Hi Pete, I was recently told there is no difference in the panels, only the size of the brushes in the top that can be swapped seperately. If you check the for sale section there is a hard top for sale with a link that explains the differences.

There are some hardtop brushes for sale in the UK on a well known auction site.... just search for "honda s2000 hardtop brushes". They are a bit pricey - not much cheaper than new ones. It may be worth buying from the US - they are about $20 each compared with £38 each in UK.

Nothing really, but its not just the bristles that need trimming - you'll have to take a grinder or something to remove a fair amount of plastic. Take a look at the picture on ebay and compare with yours - imagine removing the bristles and then you can see how much plastic needs to be removed.

I have removed my brushes altogether...it only takes 5-10 minutes, and is free

They'll go back on when I remove the HT.

Which isn't such a bad idea cos you won't have lots of crap collecting in there all summer!

Crap getting stuck in the brushes is more preferable to crap getting stuck in the hood drain tubes and causing water leaks...hence why mine will be going back on when the HT is removed

Ive taken alook at my existing panel and there is a blanking cap type of cover on there where the demister goes. It doesnt look asthough it pops out so how many people have actually used the non GT panels with a hardtop?

Thanks,

Pete
