Rack spacer problem

I thought mine were cap heads ( but its tricky to check as car isn.t here. )

But i was thinking about this on the way to work and I do Concur, Win is right 8.8 ordinary high tensile will be fine. not huge loads i would have thought. Unless of course you land up with 100mm of packing and you are trying to stop it all moving around !!!! by using hugemumgous levels of torque on the bolts !!!!!

Sorry about the hassle Ian, its a bit of an odd one that they fitted with those bolts in my rack

Does anyone know for future reference whether the MY04+ rack is deeper than the earlier ones?

Glad you got it sorted easily though...only took you a year to fit them

No problem, Flopster. The replacement bolts were delivered today so I'm off outside to sort it now. I'll report my progress sometime in 2015, you cheeky bugger
