Default Radiators .....

I have had a sudden urge to replace my radiator with an Aluminium one.

Sent off a few PMs to the US today (and an email to Ant) with regards to sourcing a replacement.

I would like one that is a direct replacement for the plastic OEM radiator.

Anyone got any advice for me on what to get or what to avoid?

I have read good things about Koyo radiators. Take a look in the GB and sponsors pages as they are on offer at the moment.

Forgot to mention, make sure that the replacement can use the Mugen thermoswitch as some of them don;t have the same fitment.

Most of the weight in a radiator is the fluid!

Steven, I'm not 100% certain, but I think Brian or Nigel were disparaging about the benefits of a replacement radiator. I've just a vague recollection of a comment I read 12-18 months ago. I may have read it elsewhere (e.g. UTH) written by another poster, but the fact that a replacement radiator is of little value did stick in my mind.

Running cooler.

Replacement radiators can make a *big* difference.
