UK & Ireland S2000 CommunityDiscussions related to the S2000, its ownership and enthusiasm for it in the UK and Ireland. Including FAQs, and technical questions.
The guy who owns this car is a Ray's representative called Kubo and the offsets he uses are 17x8 +45 on the front and 17x9+63 on the rear. The car is for track and apparently the stiffness of the alloys is unrivaled. This accommodates a BBK and does not cause rubbing issues.
An S2000 without arch mods, which is lowered a reasonable amount with a sensible geo will rub the arch liner with a 17x8+45 and a 225 tyre. A 215 tyre may not rub but it will look too stretched IMO on an 8" wide wheel.
