Default really stupid q

On a new S2000 are there speakers behind the seat? If so I can not find them and really don't want to be yanking bits of trim off the car for no reason. The manual says 4 speakers, but does that mean 2xtweeters and 2xmain?
Keep reading that people are putting/changing speakers in the rear but all the piccies show speakers mounted in front of the trim
What gives? Sorry if this is really stupid.

Cheers CC, pretty much what I thought. Don't fancy drilling/sawing holes in the trim to fit rear speakers, call me a coward!

Although the stereo is equipped with outputs for four speakers (I think) so it's not difficult to add them - especially if you get yourself some Lucid rear panels.

Definitely worth the time fitting rears - makes one hell of a difference when travelling at speed with the roof down

You're a coward.

Really, those removeable panels behind the seats are not so expensive if you ever decide to go back to stock. Or you can take the easy route and just buy some pre-cut from www.lucidautomotive.com, keep your originals intact.

I've never found the stereo to be that bad. On my way to JAE - I was travelling at 70mph with the top down and could hear the stereo no problem.

I prefer the cound of the engine over the stereo.

I agree AB.

I upgraded the front speakers to Kenwoods, which is fine for general use.

However, when used in anger, the F20C makes its own music!
