Default Rear bumper

While cleaning the car this morning I managed to pull the bottom edge of the number plate surround a little too far out, with the result that it now sits proud of the bumper and won't snap back into place.

I tired to push it back in to no avail. Any tips?

It will be full of little stones and grit etc.. which will be making it sit out proud.

Get them out and it should be fine.

I'm not sure it's just stones and grit that are stopping it from snapping back into place. There appears to be a metal plate that sits between the plate holder and the bumper that isn't sitting correctly.....

Get a trim tool or tape up a wide flat screwdriver and use it to pry the surround back into place. Take it easy and you should have no problems.
